Carol Johnson

Executive Vice President of Sales

Before joining Gale in January 2008, Ms. Johnson was employed by Kelly Services, where she was Senior Vice President – Americas Sales. During the past 10 years, she had served as Senior Vice President of the largest metropolitan markets and the Global Sales strategic customer relationship management organizations, with increased sales responsibility in each role.

Prior to Kelly, Ms. Johnson worked for Norrell Services, Thomas Cook Travel and Official Airline Guides, Inc., where she held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, account management, operations and general management. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Merchandising from Northern Illinois University and an MBA in Accounting from Loyola University of Chicago. Most recently Ms. Johnson was featured in the 2008 Profiles in Diversity Journal, as one of the "Women Worth Watching".

Ms. Johnson is responsible for Gale's sales, customer relationships and customer care fulfillment operations, serving the Academic, Public, Schools, Special and Circulating markets.
